catch a break

With a glissando, the overtones of a flute can become unstable and break away.
A glissando flute can use this to evade attempts to approach it.
Playing quickly gets out of control.

Bei einem Glissando können die Obertöne einer Flöte instabil werden und wegbrechen.
Eine Glissandoflöte kann das nutzen, um sich Annäherungsversuchen zu entziehen.
Das Spiel gerät schnell außer Kontrolle.
